On Sunday the Iraqi police closed all entrances into Ramadi which is 62 miles outside of Baghdad and put a curfew in effect after a series of car bombings killed at least 19 people and injured about 80 more. Authorities believe the attacks were carried out by al Qaeda and a Sunni militant group. Two of the car bombs detonated within 10 minutes of each other at Ramadi’s police headquarters, killing at least 8 police officers. Less than an hour later, a third car bomb, driven by a suicide attacker, detonated outside a hospital.
This story shows that many people still don't want us to be in Iraq, it also shows how dangerous it continues to be over there.

This makes me nervous knowing that Americans are over there risking their lives when the country is in such poor shape. It makes me wonder if we should really be there still.
ReplyDeleteThis joint is way wack wacko if you feel me. Those crazy guys are willing to go to extremes to get a message across to Americans and the war effort. Apparently they still feel adamant about this. I agree with polito. We will first have to do something to suppress this sort of activity over there, or we will continue to have troubles.
